How To Create and Automate 30 Days of Content

OBL Natalie Z Blog Post.jpg

When you first start out as a blogger, influencer, or content creator it can become very overwhelming to pump out content consistently and not feel burned out spending endless amounts of time on IG just to ready up one post. I am going to walk you through how I create and automate content for 30+ days.

STEP 1: Creating Content Ideas

If you haven’t already found a niche that works for you then you need to go back to my first blog post “How To Find Your Niche” because the key thing here is you need to niche down in order to pump out content that will resonate with your followers and readers.

You need to get clear about who you want to serve on your social media channels because it is vital to know your audience on a personal level in order to serve them with valuable content.

Once you have niched down you are then able to create content pillars that will leave you with endless amounts of content ideas for your blog, IG, youtube, etc.

FOR EXAMPLE: Let’s say you are a Fitness Blogger for millennial mothers

You want to be able to have 3-5 content pillars based around your niche.

EXAMPLE:

Pillar 1: Workouts (At Home or Quick Gym Workouts)

Pillar 2: Simple Meal Ideas for the family

Pillar 3: Motherhood

Pillar 4: Body Acceptance (self love)

Having these pillars will allow you to have a round up of content rotating out for every post and it helps build that cohesive theme on your page so that your message is being understood the minute someone comes to your page.

Your pillars should be a representation of you and your passions. I feel like I can talk for hours about mental health with someone and it gets me so fired up to speak about that topic so find what drives you.

Use this attached worksheet to help you better understand your audience and create your content pillars for your brand and message.

STEP 2: Automate Your Posts

IG grid.png

This is the part that will make your life so much easier when it comes to content creation and delivering content to your Instagram.

You need to find a scheduling app for your IG account that you personally like and will work well with you to help plan out your grid for the next 10, 15, 20, or 30+ days.

There are 3 apps that I have gone back and forth between, and I have personally favored one over the other recently.

You want to make sure that whatever app you choose you are able to use the app on your phone and also have the desktop version.

Here are three amazing scheduling apps: PLANN, LATER, and PLANOLY.

They are all great and unique in their own way, but each of them have great tools for scheduling your content. Right now I am using Later for my scheduling + planning needs and my tutorials will explain how I use the app for my IG. You are also able to try all of them for free and can upgrade to a subscription for more features, I pay a little more on Later to get the analytics and hashtag research.

Here are two videos of me explaining how I use Later on my phone and desktop.

Please feel free to ask me any questions or if you need help with your content pillars, I am here to help you.

Stay safe babes.
